a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.bauhelp.ch, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server for our website. This information is temporarily stored in a "log file".

The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the downloaded file,
  • website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your access provider.
  • The amount of data transmitted

The data listed will be processed by us for the following purposes:

  • to ensure a smooth connection to the website,
  • to ensure convenient use of our website,
  • to evaluate system security and stability and
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the above listed purposes for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

b) When using our contact forms

There are contact forms on our website which can be used for electronic contact. If a user accepts this option, the data entered in the input screen will be transmitted to us and stored. These personal data are:

As part of the sending process, your consent is obtained for data processing and reference is made to this Privacy Policy.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 lit. a) GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent.

We only use personal data provided on contact forms to process the requested contact. The personal data entered in the input stencil serves to protect our interests in the protection of secrets and to prevent misuse of the contact form, in particular by determining from whom an inquiry originates.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed.

You have the possibility of revoking your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. In such case, the request you have made can no longer be processed.


3. Collection, processing, storage and forwarding of data

Your personal data will not be collected, processed, stored and/or transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  • in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 page 1 lit. a) GDPR you have granted your express consent,
  • this is legally permissible and in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 (b) GDPR is required for the processing of contractual relationships with you,
  • in the event that disclosure in accordance with Art. para. 6 Para.1 Clause 1 (c) GDPR,
  • the processing is necessary to safeguard vital interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 d) GDPR of the data subject or another natural person,
  • in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 clause 1 lit. e) GDPR the processing is necessary for the performance of a task which is in the public interest or which is carried out in the exercise of official authority conferred on us, and
  • in accordance with Art. 6 Para. (1) Clause (1) lit. f) GDPR such forwarding takes place in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to believe that you have an overriding interest in not disclosing your data.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do no damage to your terminal device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that links you with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we immediately become aware of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These will be deleted automatically on leaving our site.

5. Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. This is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, U.S.A.
To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this site has no influence on this data transfer. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate location of the places we specify on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Before reach the Google map, we also explicitly point out that you are reaching the map from Google Maps. 6. YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
If you visit one of our pages which feature a YouTube plugin, a connection is established to the YouTube servers. The YouTube server is then informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you are allowing YouTube to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interests of making our online presence more attractive. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

7. WhatsApp Service

Our website uses plugins from Facebook’s WhatsApp app. This app is operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.
When you use the WhatsApp service, we collect the following personal data:

  • mobile number
  • name of the user (if known)
  • logon files

The data is collected in order to process the request correctly.
The data will be used exclusively for processing the request and will then be deleted.

8. Privacy policy regarding the use and application of Shariff

The controller has integrated the Shariff component into this website. The Shariff component provides social media buttons that comply with data protection regulations. Shariff was developed for the German computer magazine c’t and is issued by GitHub, Inc.
Developer of the component is GitHub, Inc. 88 Colin P. Kelly Junior Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
Normally, the button solutions provided by social networks already transfer personal data to the respective social network when a user visits a website into which a social media button has been integrated. By using the Shariff component, personal data is only transmitted to social networks when the visitor to a website actively presses one of the social media buttons. The purpose of using the Shariff component is to protect the personal data of visitors to our website and at the same time to enable us to integrate a button solution for social networks on this website.

Plugins are integrated on this website for the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. Facebook plugins can be identified by the Facebook logo or the "Like button" on our site. 9. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right:

  • pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR to request information about your personal data that is processed by us. In particular, they may obtain information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom their data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection thereto, the existence of a right to object, the origin of their data if it has not been collected by us and of the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where appropriate, meaningful information about the details thereof;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR to immediately request the correction of incorrect or complete your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless its processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR to restrict the processing of your personal data if a) the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, b) the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete it, c) we no longer need the data, but you do need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or d) in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR you have filed an objection to their processing;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data of yours which you have provided, in a structured, current, and machine-readable format, or to request its transfer to another controller;
  • pursuant to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR, you can revoke your consent that you have granted us, at any time. As a result, we will no longer be permitted to continue processing data based on this consent in the future; and
  • pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR to complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our headquarters.
  • pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR to be informed about the recipients of personal data concerning you to whom the relevant information has been disclosed by the data controller.  If you have exercised your right to have the data controller correct, delete or restrict the processing, this party is obliged to inform all recipients to whom the personal data that concerns you has been disclosed of this correction or deletion of the data or restriction on processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort.
  • pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR you have the right, for reasons arising from your specific situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e) or f) GDPR, including profiling based on these provisions. For tall else, reference must be made to Art. 21 and 22 GDPR.

10. Right of objection

If your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 lit. f) GDPR, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation or if the objection is to direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without the need to specify a particular situation.

11. Data security

We use the most common SSL (secure socket layer) method together with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments.

This privacy policy is currently valid and as of May 2018.
