Building control
On-site control of project progress

Ongoing building control for quality assurance
During the construction phase, a systematic check of building quality at the construction site is definitely recommended. This allows the checking of whether everything is being implemented according to the planning documents and whether building standards and building regulations are being observed. Applicable identified defects should be recorded with photo logs and their repairs checked upon.
From quality controls accompanying the construction process, building deviations can be recognised at an early stage and construction defects can therefore be avoided in good time. Via systematic building control from an independent expert, from planning to acceptance, building defects and deviations may be discovered and the necessary corrections made.
Also associated with this:
- fissure prevention before the start of plastering
- water-tightness: completeness, materials used
- airtightness of the building envelope: vapour barriers and window seals
- heat insulation: complete installation and implementation
- processing of materials: observance of implementation guidelines
The advantages of building control accompanying any construction speak for themselves:
- construction quality assurance
- recognising construction defects and the documentation for carrying out corrections
- reducing construction damage claims and so avoid expensive repair and renovation costs
- assuring retention of value for a long-term investment in real estate
