Implementation of construction recovery
Giving up is the very last resort. We can show you different perspectives on your construction.

Phases and procedures in a construction recovery
The first recovery phase is the recognition that the project has reached the point of failure and considerable changes of course in the project management are necessary to avert the looming shipwreck. This recognition can result from the continuous construction audit, from the construction controls, or from an openly visible, acute event.
The next phase is to establish the current status as comprehensively, but, above all, as quickly as possible, so that a very accurate data set is available. The data arising therefrom are a first, important indicator, as to whether a recovery is viable at all.
The introduction of a recovery process foresees a recognition and isolation of the most pressing problems or the events or circumstances giving rise to the crisis. The flashpoint must be dampened, so that the project cannot be eroded any further.
Then all necessary and meaningful steps are taken, in order to steer the project back to the expected status.
It is decided together with those involved in the project, which steps are required, and how, when and to what extent they should be carried out.
After reaching the expected status, the decision is made as to what extent the external crisis managers should remain consulting or analytical team members. During which it may, without any further prompting and very often occur that the expected status can only be reached after total completion of the project. A premature withdrawal of the recovery specialist can be counter-productive.
As with all the phases, the continuous analysis of circumstances and processes, and the constant, appropriate communication with all involved in the project apply.
Depending on the cause of the crisis, there is a recovery team of one to 12 members, which we can usually make available in-house. We will always work as part of the team of all involved in the project and always work in a constructive manner. Accusatory analyses and rash conclusions are as little conducive to success as is hesitant behaviour. Therefore, we will take over, as per the scope of the contract, the division of tasks and connect all those involved in the project, above all the operatively engaged businesses and contractors. Specialists in insurance matters, permission questions, geologists, architects, planners and specialist planners, analysts, forensic analysts, traders and construction auditors and technical specialists are available to our clients for a professional rescue of simple to highly complex building projects. External and internal lawyers round off the team and provide the protective shield for the stricken building project.
