Why award checks are so important
We draw up critical and justifiable questions before the award and adapt them to contracts in such a way, that consistent quality assurance is guaranteed.
This already comes into play at the point of contract with your creators or architects. Without a voice during the award, especially if you are collaborating with a general or full service contractor, you do not have the opportunity to carry out significant interventions.
For awards, price is not the only consideration for us! Among the other important criteria are:
- contract design and guarantees
- checking of the basic data, plans and specifications
- reliability of suppliers
- source of building materials and the capabilities of the craftsmen
- insurance matters
- etc.
Every single point can be examined very closely and it is not possible in practice for the constructor to check and keep track of every single aspect. In this way, user agreements can be left out, tightness standards may be ignored, specifications so drawn up, that price manipulations may arise, sub- and sub-sub-contractors used, who do not correctly meet the quality and reliability criteria, and risks are not insured or are under-insured.
Do not rely on your construction intuition, but on well-versed experts, who will again and again check and revise these processes.
